Welcome to Maria Robinson Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a gentle and effective hands-on approach to healthcare, based on the principle that the way your body moves influences how it functions. Osteopaths are highly competent healthcare professionals, recognised by the NHS as fully qualified to diagnose and treat independently. Although often considered 'back specialists' osteopaths deal with more than just back pain and can help those suffering from a variety of conditions including neck pain, sports injuries, recurring head ache, sciatic pain and more. Many patients are pregnant mothers, or those with work strain, or pain and stiffness related to advancing years.
The hands-on nature of osteopathy optimises the body’s inherent healing processes, restoring health and well being naturally. Osteopathy is based on the premise that the health and wellbeing of the individual depends on all of the body’s structures working well together.
Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak we are unfortunately unable to offer face-to-face appointments. We are still contactable via email, and will re-open as soon as we are able.
